A fueling facility in Tanknology’s Gulf Coast region requested a TankCam® inspection of a 10,000 gallon, fiberglass tank to inspect for undesirable conditions or abnormal operating conditions. The tank held super unleaded.

The TankCam inspection revealed no active ingress during the video inspection, but several possible points of ingress were found, including multiple possible pinholes on the endcap, possible weeping at the tank seam and staining/corrosion at several bungs. Much of the tank bottom was obscured by a build-up of sludge, debris, and residual liquid and blistering was present on the tank surfaces, most noticeably near the tank seam.
