A fueling facility in Tanknology’s Southwest region requested a TankCam® inspection of an 10,000-gallon steel tank to inspect for undesirable conditions or abnormal operating conditions. The tank held regular unleaded.

The TankCam inspection showed an unused bung near the STP as well as visible corrosion on the tank top. Corrosion tubercles were visible at the tank top while the tank contained product that partially obscured the bottom. Dirt, sediment and debris could be seen on the tank bottom.

A fueling facility in Tanknology’s Southeast region requested a TankCam® inspection of an 12,000-gallon steel tank to inspect for undesirable conditions or abnormal operating conditions. The client also requested TankClean Remote Video UST Cleaning service. The tank held regular unleaded.

The TankCam inspection showed sludge on the bottom of the tank and oxidation on the tank top. After removal of the sludge with the the TankClean service, the tank was returned to service.

A fueling facility in Tanknology’s Northeast region requested a TankCam® inspection of an 10,000-gallon fiberglass tank to inspect for undesirable conditions or abnormal operating conditions. The facility also requested TankClean Remote Video UST Cleaning service. The tank held regular unleaded.

The TankCam inspection showed a buildup of sludge at the bottom of the tank and staining on the tank walls. After removal of the sludge and staining with the the TankClean service, the tank was returned to service.

The TankCam inspection showed several bulges in the tank lining while sludge obscured the tank bottom. A possible pinhole was found on the endcap. The tank bungs showed corrosion.

The TankCam inspection showed sludge and debris on the tank bottom and residue along tank side walls and end domes. Exposed tank fibers could be seen on the seam area on the tank side wall. The inspection also found corrosion on the bungs at the tank top and peeling resin on the tank top. Tanknology recommended TankClean to the customer.

The TankCam inspection showed corrosion in the ATG riser and residue visible along the product line on the tank walls. Corrosion was found in the bungs at the tank top and on the ball float and a crack formation was seen on the tank side wall. Dirt, sludge and trash, including an old fill tube, tank stick and spring ball float, were found on the tank bottom.

The TankCam inspection showed corrosion in the ATG riser. The inspection also found resin peeling at the top of the tank side wall and exposed fibers near a seam on the tank side wall. A star shaped crack was found on the tank end dome.
