A fueling facility in Tanknology’s Ohio Valley region requested a TankCam® inspection of an 8,000 gallon fiberglass tank to inspect for undesirable conditions or abnormal operating conditions. The tank held premium unleaded.

The TankCam inspection revealed several instances of water ingress near the fill riser. Two cracks with active ingress were found near the center seam on each side of tank. Several patches were already present on the tank. Blistering and flaking were also found throughout.

A fueling facility in Tanknology’s Gulf Coast region requested a TankCam® inspection of a 10,000 gallon, fiberglass tank to inspect for undesirable conditions or abnormal operating conditions. The tank held super unleaded.

The TankCam inspection revealed no active ingress during the video inspection, but several possible points of ingress were found, including multiple possible pinholes on the endcap, possible weeping at the tank seam and staining/corrosion at several bungs. Much of the tank bottom was obscured by a build-up of sludge, debris, and residual liquid and blistering was present on the tank surfaces, most noticeably near the tank seam.
