A fueling facility in Tanknology’s Northeast region requested a TankCam inspection of a 6,000 gallon fiberglass tank to inspect for undesirable conditions or abnormal operating conditions. The tank held diesel. The customer also requested a TankClean Remote Video UST Cleaning.
The TankCam inspection revealed a considerable amount of sludge built on the bottom and sides of the tank. After the TankClean Remote Video UST Cleaning, the TankCam shows that the sludge had been removed and the tank was clean. The tank was was later placed back into service.

A fueling facility in Tanknology’s Northeast region requested a TankCam inspection of an 15,000 gallon steel tank to inspect for undesirable conditions or abnormal operating conditions. The tank held diesel.
The TankCam inspection revealed that the tank walls were covered with corrosion, residue and sludge. Heavy sludge and residual liquid covered the tank bottom. The inspection also showed that the bottom of the interstitial access pipe was corroded and enlarged. Slight liquid movement was seen but the TankCam inspection showed no conclusive ingress.
