A fueling facility in Tanknology’s Midwest region requested a TankCam® inspection of a 8,000 gallon steel tank to inspect for undesirable conditions or abnormal operating conditions. The tank held diesel.

The TankCam inspection showed that the tank bottom contained a build-up of sludge and residual liquid. An area at the top of an endcap and a seam on the tank appeared to be deflected or bent. Oxidation was observed throughout the tank.

A fueling facility in Tanknology’s Northeast region requested a TankCam® inspection of an 8,000 gallon fiberglass tank to inspect for undesirable conditions or abnormal operating conditions. The tank held premium unleaded.

The inspection revealed discoloration on the tank walls and a significant amount of debris on the tank bottom. The inspection also showed blistering and flaking in several parts of the tank.
