A fueling facility in Tanknology’s Southeast region requested a TankCam® inspection of a 6,000-gallon fiberglass tank to inspect for undesirable conditions or abnormal operating conditions. The tank held diesel.
The TankCam inspection showed corrosion in the ATG riser and residue visible along the product line on the tank walls. Corrosion was found in the bungs at the tank top and on the ball float and a crack formation was seen on the tank side wall. Dirt, sludge and trash, including an old fill tube, tank stick and spring ball float, were found on the tank bottom.

The TankCam inspection showed corrosion in the ATG riser. The inspection also found resin peeling at the top of the tank side wall and exposed fibers near a seam on the tank side wall. A star shaped crack was found on the tank end dome.

The TankCam inspection showed corrosion in the ATG riser, STP and on the ball float. The inspection also showed resin peeling at the tank top, around the bungs and exposed tank fibers near a seam on the tank side wall. Blisters were found on the side walls and end domes. Sludge, sediment and water were visible through the product at the tank bottom.
