A fueling facility in Tanknology’s Gulf Coast region requested a TankCam® inspection of a 10,000 gallon, fiberglass tank to inspect for undesirable conditions or abnormal operating conditions. The tank held regular unleaded.
The TankCam inspection revealed an active ingress through a crack in the endcap near the seam at the end of the tank. Residue was seen throughout the tank along with flaking and peeling. Before suction, bottom of tank obscured by product. After product removed, ingress source identified.

A fueling facility in Tanknology’s Ohio Valley region requested a TankCam inspection of a 4,000 gallon fiberglass tank to inspect for undesirable conditions or abnormal operating conditions. The tank held premium unleaded.
The TankCam inspection found liquid that completely obscures the tank bottom. Exposed tank fibers were visible throughout tank, in addition to bubbles, blisters and flaking.

A fueling facility in Tanknology’s Northeast region requested a TankCam inspection of a 4,000 gallon steel tank to inspect for undesirable conditions or abnormal operating conditions. The tank held diesel.
The TankCam inspection found a small amount of liquid at bottom of the tank that partially obscured tank bottom. Sludge was found at the bottom and on the lower side walls of the tank and heavy oxidation is visible throughout. Corrosion was found along the tank top and STP.

A fueling facility in Tanknology’s Southeast region requested a TankCam inspection of a 10,000 gallon fiberglass tank to inspect for undesirable conditions or abnormal operating conditions. The tank held unleaded.
The TankCam inspection found that the turbine housing was leaking and that the tank had sludge and sediment on the tank bottom. The inspection also showed discoloration on the side walls and and residue along lower side walls near the product line.

A fueling facility in Tanknology’s Gulf Coast region requested a TankCam® inspection of a 12,000 gallon, steel tank to inspect for undesirable conditions or abnormal operating conditions. The tank held diesel.
The TankCam inspection revealed oxidation, corrosion, and residue throughout the tank. Drops were observed at each riser bung, and potential ingress sites were obscured by the accumulation of residue. The bottom tank was obscured by product.
