A fueling facility in Tanknology’s Northeast region requested a TankCam inspection of a 8,000 gallon steel tank to inspect for undesirable conditions or abnormal operating conditions. The tank held diesel.

The TankCam inspection showed oxidation throughout the tank and liquid that obscured the tank bottom. Corrosion is found along the tank top, and can be seen on the ball float. Liquid drips were seen that originated on the tank top, near the STP.
