A fueling facility in Tanknology’s Gulf Coast region requested a TankCam® inspection of a 10,000 gallon, fiberglass tank to inspect for undesirable conditions or abnormal operating conditions. The tank held regular unleaded.

The TankCam inspection revealed an active ingress through a crack in the tank wall. A pattern of degradation around the top of the crack, including blistering, flaking and dark staining, was found in several areas of the tank wall. Widespread flaking and blistering was found in the tank and the tank bottom exhibited a build-up of sediment, residue and debris.
