A fueling facility in Tanknology’s Southwest region requested a TankCam inspection of a 10,000 gallon steel tank to inspect for undesirable conditions or abnormal operating conditions. The tank held premium unleaded.

The TankCam inspection found a possible unused bung next to STP. The inspection also showed corrosion throughout the tank, including the side walls and tank top and corrosion tubercles at the tank top. Dirt, sediment and large debris could be seen on the tank bottom.
