A fueling facility in Tanknology’s Midwest region requested a TankCam® inspection of a 10,000 gallon fiberglass tank to inspect for undesirable conditions or abnormal operating conditions. The tank, which had previously failed a tank test, held regular unleaded.

The inspection found sediment and debris on the tank bottom. A few small puddles of liquid were found on the tank bottom but no ingress was visible. A crack was identified on sidewall near center of tank with a dark and possible wetted area around it. A sheen, possibly from a water ingress, was visible at the bottom of the crack.
