Austin, TX – Tanknology Inc., Tanknology Inc. announced today that John Harris has been named Vice President of Operations and Ric Young has been named Regional Sales Manager, of the company’s Southeastern region of the US. Harris was previously Regional Sales Manager in the Southeast and Young was Inside Sales Representative. “John and Ric will be an excellent team to lead our Southeastern region,” said Allen Porter, President and CEO of Tanknology. “Coming from the key sales role in the same region gives John an exceptional understanding of our customers and their needs as he will now oversee all operations for the region. Ric brings strength in knowledge of both our UST and AST businesses to his new role directing sales in the region.” A graduate and football alumnus from Clemson University, Harris is a five-year Tanknology veteran and has been in the oil and gas industry since 2008. In Young’s five-years at Tanknology he has served in inside sales as well as Aboveground Storage Tank (AST) operations. He is a Steel Tank Institute (STI) Certified SP001 AST Inspector and is a member of STI’s Standards Committee.
